The Chios Society of Greater Washington, DC hosted a fundraising dinner to support philanthropic organizations whose missions are to help children in need on the island of Chios, Greece.
The dinner was held on Sunday December 4, 2022, at La Casa Restaurant located in Alexandria, VA.
We thank everybody who contributed for this charity event.
We also thank Kosta and Diane Monis for donating the food and place for this fundraising dinner.

The Chios Society of Greater Washington D.C. celebrated the Artoklasia service for the liberation of Chios at the Saint Theodore Orthodox Church, Maryland on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Chios was liberated on November 11, 1912.
The 65th National Chian Convention was held in Cleveland, Ohio from November 11-13, 2022.

The 2022 Vasilopita Luncheon was held at Nostos Restaurant in Vienna, Virginia on March 6, 2022.
We plan to contribute all the proceeds from the Vasilopita luncheon to the organization that supports persons with Special Needs (AmeA) on our island of Chios. With your help we will be supporting the AMEA IONES XIOU purchase a small bus to help those in need of transportation. It was a very successful event. Thank you everyone for your donation
